GET UP AND GET “IT” GRENADA… I’M BACK! 💪🏾💚

Let’s get this thing kicked off again!

I’m still recovering and healing from surgery, but I’ve learned that active healing has truly helped me in the past. So I’m ready to get back moving—and I want y’all to join me!

Come out for a nice evening walk or run—your choice! No pressure. Let’s just get up, get moving, and do it TOGETHER!

And remember, the message is still the same:

This isn’t about being the fastest, strongest, or most in shape. It’s about getting up to get your “IT”—whatever that may be—and doing it alongside a community that encourages you to keep going.

Walk. Run. Take it slow. Do what you can. Just GET UP AND GET “IT”!

Hope all is well with everyone. I’m walking a little better now and Making progress this way. I can’t wait to get back out there with you all! Had a few people send me videos and let me know they’re still Gettin Up to Get “It”! That makes me proud! I’ll be back out there sooner than you think! 💪🏾💜

Good afternoon, Get Up and Get “It” Grenada! 💚💪🏾

I (Jawan Elliott ) wanted to briefly check in with you all and let you know that I recently had surgery, so I’ll be down for a little while as I recover.

For those who may not know, I live with a chronic condition called (HS), which can cause extreme pain and major changes to everyday life. Unfortunately, surgery has become part of my journey with this condition.

I’ll admit, it saddens me to start something like Get Up and Get “It” Grenada and have to sit down so soon after we got started. But one thing I DON’T want is for my absence to stop the movement! 🙌🏾

Keep getting up. Keep getting moving. Keep encouraging each other. Keep showing up for YOURSELF and for the community! Whether you walk the track, hit the gym, walk around your neighborhood, or simply do what your body allows that day—GET UP AND GET “IT”! 💪🏾🚶🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️

And while I’m recovering, feel free to share your pictures and videos of how you’re still getting up and getting “it”! Tag us, post in the group, and keep motivating one another. I’ll be sharing some of my recovery journey too because right now, healing is part of my “IT.” 💚

Much love and appreciation to everyone who has come out, supported, encouraged, and helped us get this thing going.

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!

Here’s our schedule for the week:
🗓️ Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
🕖 7:00 PM

If these days or times don’t work for you, don’t be discouraged! The goal is simply to Get Up and Get “It”—whenever it fits your schedule. Whether that’s before work, after work, or on a different day, every step counts!

We’re still working out a few kinks with the schedule as we continue to grow, so thank you all for your patience, flexibility, and support. Your feedback has been greatly appreciated as we find what works best for our community.

As a reminder, if the track is being used, we’ll simply walk around the school.

Please help us spread the word, invite a friend, and let’s continue building a healthier, stronger, and more connected Grenada—together! 💚💪🏾

Day 2 of Get Up and Get it Grenada was awesome! We had a change in scenery as we walked/ran the track at Grenada High School! We had some new faces to come out as well!
