If I found out I was pregnant today, these are the top 3 things I would start doing right away. 🤍

Not because pregnancy requires perfection, but because those first few weeks are such an important opportunity to start supporting my body as it does the incredible work of growing a baby.

💊 1. Take my vitamins + probiotics consistently
I take vitamins even when I’m not pregnant, but I’ll be honest—I’m not always great at being consistent. If I found out I was pregnant, this would be one of the first things I’d make a priority. I’d also add in a quality probiotic to support my gut health.

🥩 2. Increase my veggies + protein
I’d make a conscious effort to increase both my vegetable and protein intake. Protein can greatly affect how much sickness you feel throughout the day. In all of my pregnancies, I made sure to eat extra protein before bed, and I found that it helped me avoid feeling super sick in the morning.

🚶‍♀️ 3. Go on daily walks
I love exercising, but I struggle with being consistent when life gets busy—especially with my other little ones! So instead of putting pressure on myself to complete a full workout every day, I’d make daily walks a priority. Even a short walk is still movement, fresh air, and time to care for myself.

Pregnancy isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about giving your body the support it needs and creating simple habits that are realistic for the season you’re in. 🤍

If you found out you were pregnant today, what would be the first thing you’d change or prioritize?

I’ve always felt like I had to be productive—that my worth was somehow tied to how much I could accomplish in a day.

But God has been gently showing me that my worth doesn’t come from what I do, how much I accomplish, or how productive I am.

My worth comes from who He says I am.

I’m learning that rest isn’t laziness, and slowing down isn’t failure. Rest is essential. Without it, we can run ourselves into the ground trying to prove something that never needed to be proven in the first place.

I don’t have to earn my worth through productivity.

I can rest knowing that I am already enough because of who God says I am. 🤍

Fun fact about myself, I LOVE learning and I do that most through reading! I’m usually reading a minimum of 3 books at a time over the course of a couple of months. The fourth trimester is one of my top 3 as a hormone coach and birth doula because not only do I help women to achieve pregnancy, work with women through pregnancy and birth but I also want to spend time with women during the postpartum time because of the lack of support and the severe fluctuation that we experience during that time.

Did you know your menstrual cycle is so much more than your period?

Your cycle actually has 4 distinct phases, and each one brings unique hormonal shifts that can affect your energy, mood, sleep, appetite, workouts, and overall well-being.

🌱 Menstrual Phase – Your body is shedding the uterine lining and beginning a new cycle.
🌸 Follicular Phase – Estrogen rises, and many women notice increasing energy, motivation, and mental clarity.
🥚 Ovulatory Phase – An egg is released, and fertility is at its peak. Many women feel more confident, social, and energized during this time.
🌙 Luteal Phase – Progesterone rises to prepare the body for a possible pregnancy. If pregnancy doesn’t occur, hormone levels drop, leading into the next period. This is often when PMS symptoms can show up.

When you begin to understand these phases, you can start working with your body instead of constantly feeling like it’s working against you.

✨ Which phase surprised you the most? Or did you already know your cycle was more than just your period? Let me know in the comments! ⬇️

I became a hormone coach to educate, encourage, and help women understand the beauty of the feminine design. Your symptoms matter, and you deserve to understand what your body is trying to tell you.

Healing starts with understanding. 🤍

What is a Doula? 🤍

A doula is a trained support person who walks alongside you throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period.

I don’t replace your doctor or midwife—instead, I complement your care by providing continuous emotional, physical, and educational support.

As your doula, I can:
✨ Help you prepare for birth with evidence-based education.
✨ Encourage and support your birth preferences.
✨ Offer comfort measures during labor, like positioning, breathing, massage, and relaxation techniques.
✨ Help your partner feel confident and involved.
✨ Be a calm, familiar presence when things feel overwhelming.
✨ Support you after birth as you transition into motherhood.

Birth isn’t just about bringing a baby into the world—it’s about welcoming a mother, too.

Every woman deserves to feel heard, informed, respected, and supported throughout her birth journey.

Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, an epidural, an induction, or a cesarean birth, a doula is there to support you—without judgment.

If you’re expecting and wondering if doula support is right for you, I’d love to chat. My consultations are a relaxed, no-pressure opportunity to ask questions and learn how I can support your unique birth experience. 🤍
