Feeling so grateful to have been invited back to share a Sound Healing Session at the The Dalí Museum, this time in the iconic Dome. It was such a unique and inspiring space, and I am thankful for the opportunity to create moments of rest and reflection there.

The frequencies were never lost.

We just forgot how to listen.

Sound has always been one of the most powerful ways humans connect with the world.

Long before modern technology, people used:

bells
chanting
drumming
humming
singing

These sounds weren't just cultural traditions.

They were ways of synchronizing the body, voice, and nervous system with rhythm.

Your body still responds to vibration today.

Your breath carries it.
Your voice creates it.
Your nervous system feels it.

Because the human body is built to respond to patterns of sound and rhythm.

In many ways, remembering how to use your voice, breath, and sound is simply remembering something your body already understands.

What sound makes you feel instantly grounded or connected?

A bell, singing bowl, music, humming, or something else?

Research in neuroscience and sound therapy shows that rhythmic auditory patterns can affect breathing, attention, and nervous system regulation, which is why sound continues to be used in meditation, relaxation, and stress reduction practices.

Witnessing the wonderment, joy, peacefulness, and excitement among the children was so uplifting. It was equally wonderful to see the intuitive ability children have to play the singing bowls.

Feeling incredibly grateful after hosting a Sound Healing session at the University of South Florida this week. I was honored to collaborate with our St. Pete campus Wellness Center to host a “Midterm Reset” event.

The majority of participants in the Sound Healing session were new to it. In the beginning of the session, I explained different sensations someone may experience, like warmth or coolness, deep relaxation, seeing colors, feeling an emotional release, or even connecting with loved ones or ancestors.

After the session, one student came up to me to tell me she felt as if her loved ones were hugging her. Another one was transported back to her childhood after hearing certain sounds. Nearly everyone reported feeling much more relaxed, even after only a 20 minute session.
