What a dream. Before I left Hawaii we had an amazing surf session with my dawn patrol group. Rockpiles. Biggest brightest most vibrant rainbow (last slide) it was a PORTAL 🌈 to take me on my voyage. It’s no secret that Bora is no surf destination but the stars aligned one day and I got to get in the water with friends and it was so special 🥰 then, a beautiful rainbow appeared over the island. My portal back home. A piece of me never wants to leave. I can’t imagine I will be gone for long. I step forward and return back to Hawaii curious what life will bring next.

Endings make me so anxious! I can’t believe my trip is coming to a close. I’ve been grieving it for months now. 12 weeks, 8 weeks, 2 weeks… privileged when so many come for just a few days. I really can’t ask for more. But I want MORE! And I fear the unknown. Thank God for everything - placing me back in paradise, for continuing my work, for all the tiny details. It’s been a lesson of turning things over to HIM. In prayer, telling him it’s too much for me to hold - a new way of letting go. Ohhh how I like to fight though. To push. Sometimes it feels like a deep slow wave in me. Appearing peaceful and calm on the surface and then it rises slowly but with a power I can’t comprehend. And it’s evident the set has started again. One, two, three, four… if I just hold on it will settle again.

Slowly, I study. Slowly I learn. Slowly, I try. To live with unconditional love and wisdom concurrently is an art. Our lives a canvas with every stroke measured by our choices, through our lessons. I thank the JW community in Bora Bora for showing my kindness, warmth, and compassion - for connecting me more deeply with God. For cultivating a space and support for learning the truth of the Bible, without judgment. 🫶🏼

Sometimes everything comes together in the end. Sometimes your prayers are answered. Sometimes you receive more than you imagined possible. Sometimes it exactly why you needed and you didn’t even know it. Have faith - God provides 🫶🏼

Sometimes I feel my dreams. They stay with me long after I wake. Shifting me internally. An unexpected gift. He knew I was leaving soon; he lingered near; he finally spoke; he opened his heart 💛 and I woke. A future unknown with the past tied up in a neat little box with a bow. Preserved in perfection. Stay the course and follow Gods direction.
