Meet It Takes a Village 🤍

Parenthood was never meant to be navigated alone, and that’s exactly why It Takes a Village was created.

We’re a collaborative community offering support for families through the prenatal, postpartum, and early childhood years. Our team brings together a variety of specialties so families can find the support they need, all in one village.

Our 1:1 services include:
✨ Lactation & infant feeding support
✨ Occupational therapy
✨ Mental health support

In addition to our 1:1 offerings, we offer opportunities for families to connect, learn, and grow together through our community groups and workshops.

From pregnancy and postpartum support to baby development, feeding, movement, bonding, and navigating those early years… our groups are designed to provide education, connection, and a supportive village during each stage of this journey.

Because sometimes you need an expert. Sometimes you need a community, and sometimes you need both. 🤍

✨ Postpartum Together is a 4-week workshop series created to help parents feel more confident, connected, and supported as they navigate life with a new baby.

Each week, we’ll gather for honest conversation, practical support, and connection around topics that matter:

Another Friday of toddler sensory + movement fun! 🌈✨

Our little movers explored, climbed, jumped, crawled, and engaged their senses through playful activities designed to support development, confidence, and connection.

Toddler Sensory & Movement is all about giving kids a space to move their bodies, build new skills, and have fun. From obstacle courses to sensory play and everything in between, every activity is thoughtfully designed with child development in mind.

The first year of feeding your baby can come with a lot of questions, and every family’s journey looks a little different.
Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, combo feeding, or simply looking for guidance and reassurance, our Infant Feeding Support Group offers a welcoming space to connect, learn, and feel supported right here in Sussex County, New Jersey.
Led by IBCLC Jacqulyn Potter, each session provides practical education, encouragement, and the opportunity to connect with other caregivers navigating similar experiences.
