I turned 50 this summer and I’m not afraid to admit
1. That I am my age. And still learning.
2. I cry at least 2 times a week (sometimes more) when I think of how much I miss my big brother. He passed away a couple years ago and can still hear his laugh.
3. Sometimes I isolate myself too much, and have to make the effort to reach out, or meet new people. Yes, I somehow feel sane in an awkward moment. (Push through the social anxiety) Some times people tell me, I appear to be confident. I’m confident, of being fearful, scared, happy, and contented.
4. I often receive praise for my work and get told that I am a unicorn. But still find ways to improve my skills
5. Completed my undergrad with decent gpa at 46, as a mom , while my romantic relationship dissolved at the same time. It was more to complete the promise I made to my younger self.
6. My circle of friends have whittled down to a small number- and that’s good with me. Yet it still sadness me when I get ghosted.
8. I started biohacking in my 20’s because I saw what my future would look like through my clients stories. Receiving up to 4 massages a month. Eating macrobiotic meals, or an organic pescatarian diet, non toxic lifestyle and spending as much time traveling the world for all the healing ways that have filled my life with soulful friendships and connections.
9. I am now in another golden age in my life.
Here to say that - you don’t have to peak once.
There are many peaks!
My intention is to share that with you, and see you thrive. Time to reconnect to the inner joy!
