💛 AMAZING UPDATE 💛

Thanks to the incredible support of this community, we’ve reached $2,200 toward our goal of supporting aspiring doulas with training and certification!

Every donation and share has helped move this mission forward and create opportunities for future birth workers to access the training they need to support families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.

Because we’re so close to our goal, we’ve decided to extend the fundraiser through June 5 to give us one final push.

WOW 💛 We’ve officially reached $1,125 toward our fundraiser supporting aspiring doulas with training and certification!

I’m honestly so grateful for every donation, repost, message, and word of encouragement. Seeing people rally around this mission has meant so much.

This fundraiser is about helping future doulas access the education and certification they need to support families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care especially those who may face financial barriers getting started.

Our next goal is $1,500 by the end of the weekend and we’re only $375 away ✨

Becoming a doula shouldn’t be limited by finances. So many women have reached out to join the next cohort of HACC’s upcoming doula training but finances have become a heavy burden. Last year scholarships were available however all the funding available has been distributed to those in need.

My personal doula journey was started through the generosity of supplemental funding and I am looking to provide the same opportunity to future doulas but I need your help!

Black women are highly impacted by poor outcome (especially death) as a result of child birth complications at a rate that is 3-4 times higher than white women. Having doulas present during the perinatal period has evidence to prove to better these outcomes and if that matters to you, your donations will be helping to improve these outcomes in the central PA area.

I’m raising funds to support aspiring doulas in central Pennsylvania so they can access training and certification and bring culturally competent care to families who deserve it most.

Tiffiney L. Hall is the founder of PosiTiff Beginnings Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula Services and Founder & President of A PosiTiff Place, a 501c(3) non-profit organization. She is dedicated to supporting birthing people through life’s most transformative journeys, with a specialized focus on postpartum healing care.
