Two more sleeps until our babies get to meet you! Ha! Choosing the crystals, making the Chapters in Stone Bookmarks and Story Cards, The Mystery Crystal Packs, pricing and stocking has been a whirlwind of fun.

The excitement is real!

There's something wonderful happening in downtown Hartford, and we're so excited to be a little part of it. The Book Nook is opening a new chapter filled with stories, creativity, local makers, and all kinds of unexpected discoveries. And yes, tucked among those books and beautiful little treasures, you'll find a little sparkle from Juicy Rocks.

But what makes this place special goes far beyond what's on the shelves.

We recently had the opportunity to create a short film introducing Stephanie and Colette, the mother-daughter duo bringing this dream to life.
We'd love for you to take a look, hear their story, and discover a little more about this wonderful new addition to downtown Hartford.

Who knows? You may stop in for a book and leave with a little something shiny.

Behind these doors are some pretty fabulous women building something really special. Stories, chapters, community, classes, creativity, quiet corners, laughter, serenity, and fun. And perhaps… something shiny!!!

There is so much more waiting inside these walls than books.

We’ve been kinda (incredibly) busy! 📞💨

On Thursday night we had the privilege of working with Gloria Witt for headshots, branding video & photo, and even a video detailing our journey!

Keep an eye out for upcoming posts, and thanks again to Gloria & Ron 🤭

We were up to something last night…

A camera. A bookstore. A few secrets on the shelves. Juicy Rocks has officially found its little corner inside The Book Nook, and we cannot wait for you to see the whole space come to life.
Crystals with a story, Mystery Chapters, A Chapter in Stone, and plenty of treasures waiting to be discovered.
For now, you only get the behind-the-scenes peek.

More soon.

The Juicy Rocks shelves are filling up!
Crystals, carvings, towers, tumbles, spheres, little crystal treasures, Mystery Chapters and so many things that I’ve been quietly creating and collecting are beginning to find their new home in downtown Hartford.
I love the idea that you might walk into a bookstore looking for your next great read…and somewhere along the way, a stone catches your eye and another little story begins…
