The National MS Society is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Teri Garr. She gave so much of herself to the MS movement and helped many others by sharing her own journey with this disease. Our hearts and thoughts are with all who knew and loved her.

Amy's Awesome Alliance is getting ready for tomorrow...our Des Moines team is growing and I'm excited that several friends & family are joining us this year, from both near & far. This will be our biggest team yet since being in Iowa.

I'm very blessed to have such amazing support...my hope would be that each person living with MS would be blessed with the same, because like any struggle & trial in life, we can't do it alone.

The weather forecast shows that Saturday for Walk MS should be a beautiful day! One thing I've always loved about this event is seeing all the people come together for a common cause...and of course, having my team there full of friends & family means the world to me!

Amy's Awesome Alliance is no longer #1 in Des Moines but I'm still very proud to be currently #2...of course, the standings are not that important, it's just a fun competition (but do I like to win??? you bet I do!!!). What's important is raising money for services and research and everything else that goes to support those living with MS.
