June is PTSD Awareness Month 💚
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can affect anyone who has experienced or witnessed a traumatic event. While many people associate PTSD with military service, it can also impact survivors of accidents, violence, abuse, natural disasters, loss, or other deeply stressful experiences.
PTSD is not a sign of weakness — and healing is possible. Raising awareness helps reduce stigma, encourages compassion, and reminds people they are not alone.
This month, we encourage our community to:
• Learn about the signs and symptoms of PTSD
• Check in with loved ones
• Practice patience and empathy
• Support conversations around mental health
Everyone deserves understanding, support, and hope. 💚
