Hey, everyone.

Happy Wednesday! Quick welcome to all the new folks on the feed, and proof of life. LoL

Real talk though. We're 10 days out from Chaos to Clarity, and I give the venue my final headcount this Saturday. So this is me putting it on your radar — honestly.

A couple of people I deeply respect reached out to help me find clarity in my messaging, and they asked me: Why should I care? Why should I put my hard-earned money into this?

And here's the truth: I don't have slick sales language for you. I could walk you through the mechanics, the components, the 20-plus years of research and lived experience synthesized into this one room — but that's the tip of the iceberg, and the vastness of that iceberg can't be explained.

From the outside, you MIGHT look okay, but inside, you know something has to change.

You can't feel your body the way you're "supposed to" — maybe just the aches and the pains.
You're not clear in your mind — there's a lot out there to trigger you.

There is a very specific, heavy ache that comes with loss. It’s the weight of knowing a life was cut short, combined with the quiet, lingering feeling of helplessness to have any impact on that finality.

Whether a person had the opportunity to live over a hundred years or was stillborn, the pain we carry is a direct measure of the love that also exists (I think it was who said something to that effect this past weekend).

And it's all valid and true. As I have been advising more often than I care to admit, it's quite alright and highly necessary to accept that we can feel ALL the things. What matters most after that is how we integrate, adapt, and then act at the other end of those feels.

Now, I’ve met death many, many times. Like I told a friend not too long ago: grief is funny. No matter how much time has passed, it never goes away. You carry it with you always, and just like training, it doesn't really get any easier, you just get better at carrying it.

Between this last weekend of time traveling to a place in my life that existed as an anchor in the midst of the death that marked my entry into high school and coming up on the anniversary of my little cousin's death to a grand mal seizure, and then stepping up to support a member at my work experience that same exact event on the floor on this exact day, I was triggered into action. First, it came calmly, like muscle memory – I've been trained for this, I've been here before, and I'll get through it.

Next, came the lessons.

There does exist life beyond the material one we are so engrossed in, and the Source of All Things is present at every turn, as are those who've transitioned before us. And while we are helpless to truly change the expiry date attached to this life contract, the ability to find ourselves in a space where we can make a difference will always come about, if we have the eyes to see, the means to do, and the heart to act.

And we cannot do that without first following the core ethos of life: to truly live.

When we make that choice with intentionality, it allows us to bring value to the world by simply doing so to the best of our ability in a way that is regenerative.

Today’s follow-along is all about the hips (cause hips don't lie lol *cheese*). 💃

​Let's talk about biofeedback. In simple terms, biofeedback is just paying close attention to the real-time signals your body is sending you. It can be as simple as placing your hands on yourself to better feel what should/shouldn't be happening.

When we do CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations), our goal is pure hip movement — no nosy back, no overachieving shins.

Notice how silent the rest of my body is in this video? I am fighting to keep tall, my body still, and only focus on moving the thigh.

​That is how we shut out the "noise" of compensation. We isolate the joint so we can get highly specific and focus entirely on exploring the outer perimeter of our range of motion.

​Because bodyweight CARs are low-demand, we can safely explore that outer edge and take note of the sensations. We never push into pain. Instead, we come right up to the perimeter and get really familiar with how it feels to move safely through our pain-free range.

​Eventually, as we build capacity, we can do more. We can add a little weight, change our position, or stay in a particular sticky spot to get comfortable there. The possibilities to expand our capacity are vast and depend entirely on the context.

​Just like life.

​You don't push through the pain to grow. You find your edges, you learn how to move safely within them, and over time, that perimeter naturally expands. You shut out the noise and the compensations of the outside world, and you get incredibly specific about your own alignment.

​This is exactly what we are building at the Chaos to Clarity 1-Day Wellness Intensive.
