I had such a fun morning talking to a group of financial planners at Think Net Tailored Wealth Solutions. We discussed how reducing medical debt thru Advance Care Planning will add to the networth of their clients. Very fun and important conversations.

My team of RNs and End of Life doulas from the Texas End of Life Collective did an outstanding job presenting at St Timothy's Senior Center. We discussed Advanced Care Planning using the 5-Wishes booklet. We offered both English and Spanish translation. The seniors were very engaged in the discussion of Wish 1 and Wish 2. We return on June 5 to discuss Wish 3, 4 and 5. Let me know if you think this presentation would be a good fit for your organization. Happy to bring my team to you.

Hello All. Nurse Sandy here. As I reflect on the women in my life, I recall many are caring for their aging/sick parents, ill husbands, or are raising children or grandchildren while also caring for sickly relatives. Lots of us have already said goodbye to our precious mothers. We are a quiet bunch. We don't need or want much fanfare. We grieve quietly. I want to share some beautiful, female birds that I hope make you pause and feel calm. Their soft colors bring a peaceful feeling. Enjoy and Happy Mother's Day.

Guess what?? My nursing business, Going Home Private Duty Nursing turns one today! It was a great year and Year Two looks even better. A special shoutout to Shari Sheldon, my first client who believed in me and hired me to care for her mother, Bernice. I am also thankful for my wonderful family, sisters, and dear friends who encouraged me all year long to press on and not give up. My heart is full and I am thankful to everyone reading this post.
