✨ Who gives you energy?
This isn’t just a story. It’s an invitation to start paying attention to your own interactions.
How do you feel when you leave a conversation? Do you feel depleted, weighed down, and emotionally exhausted? Or do you leave feeling lighter, more alive, and filled with a joy you can’t quite explain?
I’m 37 years old, and I’m only now discovering that joy can exist on the other side of an interaction. 🥹
For so much of my life, I’ve been accustomed to leaving interactions feeling drained. But recently, I’ve experienced something different. I’ve left an interaction with a smile on my face and a genuine joy in my heart that I didn’t manufacture or force. It was just there.
And it’s made me rethink what I know about energy, connection, and what it means to feel genuinely seen by another person.
I’m learning that paying attention to how we feel after spending time with someone can teach us something important about our relationships.
If you’ve never experienced that kind of joy after an interaction, maybe it’s time to give yourself permission to meet new people, try new things, and explore connections you haven’t experienced before. Not every connection will feel the same, and you deserve the opportunity to discover what healthy, nourishing connection feels like for you. ❤️
This is part of my journey with COSMOS SOMATICS — exploring the connections between faith, science, and the experiences that teach us about ourselves.
✨ Now I’m curious about YOU:
When you leave an interaction, how do you usually feel? Have you ever walked away from spending time with someone feeling more joyful than when you arrived?
Tell me in the comments. I’d love to hear your experience. 💫
