Here at Rosia’s Sunkissed Doula, we strive to ensure the entire family unit is supported throughout your journey.

At no additional cost, my husband provides partner support to help expectant fathers navigate the complexities of juggling their relationships, intimacy, pregnancy challenges, birth prep, and overall harmony when transitioning as a growing family. We’re here for the hard questions. We believe that having a safe space has saved lives as well as relationships, allowing couples to embrace their sacred chapter while confidently walking into the next phase.

🗣️ HEAVY ON PEACE! The birth room is sacred, allowing moms to be vulnerable and raw during one of life’s most precious mysteries. Please support the expectant moms around you in any way you can! Sometimes, it’s getting the home ready while she labors and recovers, watching older siblings and/or pets while her and her partner labor, and sometimes it is silently praying knowing that GOD knows the need.

Not being invited into the delivery room is not a big deal 👏🏼

Birth is not a performance.
It's not a family gathering.
It's not a moment anyone is entitled to witness.

It's one of the most vulnerable, painful, emotional, and exposed moments a woman will ever experience.

Some women want a room full of support people.
Others want only their partner.
Some want absolutely no one besides medical staff.

& all of those choices are okay.

If someone chooses not to have you in the room, it doesn't mean they don't love you.
It doesn't mean you're unimportant.
It simply means they're choosing the environment that makes them feel safest while bringing a human being into the world.

The birth of a baby is about the comfort of the mother and the safety of the baby not about hurt feelings or keeping everyone happy.

You don't have to agree with someone's boundary to respect it.

Because when a woman is giving birth, her peace matters more than anyone else's expectations‼️

Supporting a mother’s mental health doesn’t just impact her—it shapes generations.

When a mother is supported, regulated, and emotionally held, her baby experiences that too.
This is the heart of the 2-generation approach in infant mental health:
💜Care for the parent
💜Care for the child—at the same time

Because babies don’t develop in isolation.
They develop through relationships.

✨ When maternal mental health is supported:
• Caregivers are more emotionally available
• Babies build secure attachment
• Stress responses are better regulated
• Developmental outcomes are strengthened

And over time… this changes patterns.

This is how we do more than cope.

Wishing all the mothers of the past, present, and future a very Happy Mother’s Day! A special thanks to every woman who have allowed me to walk the path of motherhood with them:

- Through mental and physical preparation for birth via Mindfulness in Labor sessions.

- By trusting me in your most vulnerable moments during labor and birth, both in triumph and tragedy. 💔🙏🏽

- Resting in my care and compassion during postpartum recovery.

- Accepting guidance during lactation sessions.

- Simply allowing me to cheer you on in every phase, via social media interaction or in person connection, as you and your beautiful babies grow!

Serving all of you renews my own purpose as a doula, a mother, and a forever friend! May this day be as beautiful as all of you are. 😘🤞🏽

For all the beautiful mothers who share this journey! I’m here to support you through it all. 🫶🏽💕

It’s not uncommon as NICU mothers to feel as though we don’t fit in in typical motherhood spaces. (At least the ones we see portrayed on social media and in the movies!) And when the journey to motherhood we’ve always been shown doesn’t doesn’t line up with our current reality? It can feel as though we may never belong.

But sister, you belong here. 💕 Because while your NICU journey may not have been a part of the motherhood journey you always envisioned, you now have a sisterhood of women who understand the complexities of what it means to carry the title of “NICU Mama.”

A sisterhood that understands the pain of seeing your baby in intensive care, holds space for both gratitude and grief, and believes wholeheartedly that you are the best mother for your baby. Healing may be lifelong, but it does not need to be journeyed through alone. 💕

There are no favorites here and the dress code is come as you are. So whether your NICU journey was 10 days or 100 days, 5 years ago or the journey you currently find yourself on, know that there’s a seat for you. When motherhood feels lonely, your sisters are here.

As a survivor of HELLP syndrome and preeclampsia, I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to recognize the signs/symptoms and advocate for yourself to get the care you need!

I’m grateful that both of my cases were caught early, resulting in healthy deliveries with 2 healthy baby boys who are growing into healthy young men. My team of midwives, OBs, doulas, and pediatricians validated my concerns the whole step of the way. My birth stories are proof that interdisciplinary collaboration works!

Vitamin K at birth is not a vaccine.

It doesn’t stimulate the immune system, it doesn’t contain antigens, and it isn’t designed to prevent an infectious disease.

Vitamin K is a vitamin something our bodies naturally need to help blood clot properly. Babies are born with very low levels of it, which puts them at risk for a rare but serious condition called vitamin K deficiency bleeding (VKDB), which can cause internal bleeding, including in the brain.

The vitamin K shot simply gives newborns the boost they need to prevent that risk during those first critical weeks of life.

You don’t have to agree with every medical recommendation but it’s important we’re calling things what they actually are. Vitamin K ≠ vaccine.
