Since the recent New Moon/Solar Eclipse, I feel a slower and more internal rhythm, a time of deep listening.
My soul is nudging me to go on a little jaunt to explore & get out of my comfort zone
(I love me some growth-inducing adventure)!
Taking a reprieve from one’s day-to-day routine provides a rich opportunity for clarity and new insights — keeping life, business & relationships fresh and aligned.
My original plan was a retreat in Washington at the base of Mount Rainier to participate in a delicious retreat called “Wild Beauty”. When I got the news it was postponed due to raging wildfires, I settled into acceptance and letting go.
But that voice (you know the one that guides you forward) urged me on…
On to a voyage of discovery!
A discovery of what you may be asking??? I don’t exactly know. Trusting in the unknown (esp when you get the call) is one way to grow and expand. And that’s just what I am choosing!
I recently had the privilege of meeting and getting to know a very interesting woman named Dragonfly. She briefly journeyed through our town and modeled this type of faith. She lives a sovereign life outside our societal systems. No home, car, cell phone or even money… nothing but the clothes on her back and her trusted dog by her side (Now that’s a whole other level of trust — living by guidance). I was inspired by her and know our encounter was not by chance. While I may never go to such an extent, it did provide me with an important message…
Like most, I have lived with an illusion that If I can control my environment, then I will be safe. Always carefully planning my next move. But what I’ve discovered is even a well-thought-out and executed route does not guarantee safety & security!
What matters most is cultivating the inner landscape of TRUST & knowing regardless of what’s happening on the outside, you can rely on yourself and your connection with life.
Years of yoga, meditation, self-development and honest reflection, along with upgrading my eating regime to include mostly high-potency organic whole food nutrition, are the tools that created the conditions for my growing conviction.
So here are the parameters of my journey…I’ll be traveling north through the Black Hills then over to Wyoming through the Big Horn Mountains and down to Thermopolis, then back home. A nice short & sweet loop.
I’m looking forward to visiting a few dear friends, taking in inspiring scenic beauty, & revitalizing in the awe of nature. Staying open to allow spontaneity & synchronicity along the way.
