DEFENSES: You developed them for self protection as a child, but if you’re ready to let go of them you need to first understand their root and work to soften their grip on you.

Otherwise they will prevent you from ever working through what happened back then.

Denial, Compartmentalization, Rationalization, Projection, Judgement etc. Are all examples of how our defenses show up in our adult lives

SELF AWARENESS is The process of making the unconscious conscious.

Without permitting into consciousness the origins of your defenses, motivations, and judgments will continue to sabotage and hold you back.

During this time of self exploration, & Self Discovery it is imperative to create a safe space for yourself, to nurture and honor your spirit.

In order to bring forth awareness and not lean into shame you have to increase Your Self love & Self Care practices

Vulnerability is not weakness. And that myth can be profoundly dangerous.

Vulnerability is the birthplace of connection and the path to the feeling of worthiness.

If it doesn't feel vulnerable, the sharing is probably not constructive.

Vulnerability isn't just about expressing your feelings.

It's the art and practice of sitting with yourself.

Breathing. Not reacting.

With intention, and long enough to see what is residue and what is actual truth.

That is the only way you can really show yourself, and just your past and your traumas.

You can't be here in the present moment if you are always running.

The present moment is where you find peace, and transparency is the road that leads you there
