ALP headed west for a change of scenery and to put our work in the gym to the test. We were greeted with challenges, fun, and opportunities to grow in our trust and love for each other!

We spent Sunday afternoon with this guy, doing mostly tiny movements and static holds, becoming sore in muscles that we didn’t know existed. If you want to work on balance, posture, or how to use your body to kick your own ass, or if you just want to hang with a super cool and impressive guy, reach out to !

We hiked, biked, and climbed rocks, but that doesn’t compare to the relationships and memories that we built last week on our spring break trip to Arkansas.

Year after year, these trips change lives. Thank you so much to everyone who donated, purchased salsa and pickles, and who gave our teens an opportunity to work their way into this trip. It wouldn’t have been possible without your help and it would’ve been the same if the teens didn’t have to earn it.

We’re gearing up for a week in the Ozarks where we’ll be climbing, riding, hiking, and living like we have been training to do! Thank you to everyone who has donated and made this trip possible for so many teens, we can’t wait!

Adventure Learning Program has a spring break wilderness trip coming up.

For those that have been on a trip like this, you know about the magic that happens in circles like the on in this picture.

This picture was taken after a long day of backpacking. There was a fire ban so we circled around a lantern. After an exhausting day, literally climbing mountains, with the Milky Way in clear view above us, something truly amazing takes place. Recovery is unavoidable in these circles.

A huge part of this trip is the participants earning their way. We need your help. This can come in a few different ways:
1. Participants have created GoFundMe pages. If you feel inclined to donate, reach out and we will send you the links.
2. If you have a job that needs to be done, reach out. We have a crew of energetic teens who are ready to work and earn for you.
3. Help us utilize the power of social media, share this post.

What’s in it for you:
1. Knowing that you made a huge impact in helping a teen go on a trip of a lifetime.
2. If you donate, you will receive a picture and a hand written note about the teens experience on this trip.

You want a good time? Tell a bunch of kids that they will be doing problem solving activities with their parents!

We had such an awesome time getting our families out for a day at the farm. Recovery is a family matter! On those same lines, we are pumped to announce that we have started a parent group as a part of our service offerings!
