❤️ A baby girl has spent nearly six months inside Texas Children’s Hospital waiting for a miracle.

Sadie reached out to me asking for prayers for her daughter Olivia, who was life-flighted to Texas Children’s back in November and diagnosed with DCM, a serious heart condition involving the main pumping chamber.

It turned her family’s world upside down overnight.

Just one week later, little Olivia was placed on a Berlin Heart pump and has been waiting ever since… waiting to see whether healing comes through a new heart, or through a miracle of her own.

And today, after months of uncertainty, fear, and hospital days that seem to blur together, her family finally received some encouraging news.

Doctors ordered an echocardiogram after noticing some heart rhythm changes, and according to her parents, Olivia’s heart is now back to a normal size. They also say her left side is showing a little improvement and doctors were even able to lower her heart pump setting by 10%.

Her doctors are keeping expectations realistic and she is still listed for transplant.

But for parents who have spent months watching monitors, praying through sleepless nights, and living beside a hospital bed, even the words “improvement” can feel enormous.

Her mom wrote, “There really is power in prayer.”

So today the doctor ordered an echo because Nuggie has been showing some arrhythmia (nothing particularly scary, but they obviously wanted to check that out), and it shows that her heart is back to normal size, and the cannulas in her heart connecting it to the pump have shifted a little in a way that can cause the arrhythmia (sorry I’m terrible at explaining stuff) , and her left side is actually pumping just a wee bit better! They were able to bring her pump down 10% since her heart was slightly competing with the pump at that rate. So awesome.
Now it’s nothing the doc wanted us to get too excited about, she is still listed for transplant, but it is most certainly awesome to see actual improvement in her heart, and that there really is power in Prayer. So please keep praying. 🙏Thankyou!

Our beautiful firstborn baby girl was Life flighted to Texas Children’s Hospital and diagnosed with DCM November 19th 2025, she was placed on a Berlin Heart Pump on Nov 26th and we’ve been waiting ever since for whatever miracle God gives her, wether she is healed or gifted a new heart ❤️‍🩹 She truly is our sunshine on a cloudy day, and has been a rockstar through all of this! I will try to document her journey here, and please lift her up in your prayers, it is greatly appreciated! ♥️
