Update- Unfortunately the doctors are concerned with the amount of scar tissue they’re seeing (although the tissue sample is from this last November when they placed her Berlin), and have decided to not pull her pump, she has been placed back on the heart transplant list as active status. We’re crushed and will be having a meeting soon for more answers, we have so many questions, especially since she passed her other tests and her heart has improved.
We know the team has her best interests at heart, but we definitely got our hopes up, particularly when they recommended actually making her inactive on the transplant list. Please continue to pray for our little heart warrior, she is such a trooper! ❤️‍🩹

Still no solid update on how to proceed with the removal of Olivia’s Berlin pump, the last doctor (pathologist) that needed to review her case happened today, so hopefully we will have news soon!
She is still doing well over all, the doctors are watching a small fibrin in her pump (a protein that helps with blood clotting), but we are watching it closely and it should hopefully dissolve soon with her Bival meds.
I loved how her hair looked after taking her little ponytails out the other day, reminded me of golden retriever ears, lol!
Her 2 yr birthday is this month on the 28th! Ah! Can’t believe she’s 2 already!
We greatly appreciate all the prayers and support for our baby girl! If you feel led to help donate to our go fund me, thankyou, but please always say a prayer for our little girl!

So sorry we haven’t updated sooner! Olivia’s cath test Friday 7/31 went very well! Her EF and overall heart function actually improved a bit when they fully turned her Berlin pump off 🥹 God is so good, everything is pointed towards removing the pump, we are so thankful for the prayers as there is power in it!
And now we’re gratefully scrambling to get the house ready for a whole 2 yr old! Exciting 😍😍 if you feel led to donate to our gofundme, it is so appreciated, but no matter what please continue to pray for our baby girl! Thankyou 💕 https://gofund.me/72603b4d0

She has been doing so well, that the team has agreed to perform a cath test which will be tomorrow morning! They will mainly be checking how her heart performs by turning OFF her pump! It’s a blessing for us to even be able to have this as an option or opportunity as she has now been listed almost 9 months for a heart transplant.
If this test goes well, Olivia will be on her way to getting her pump removed, instead of a heart transplant. God is so good, please continue to pray! We love our sweet girl so much ❤️‍🩹
If you feel led to help support, or send a prayer, we are so grateful

On her daily walks around the unit, we plant puffy stickers within her reach, she LOVES to find them and peel em off, lol

‼️Update on Nuggies pump test while getting an echo!‼️
So 4 days ago, Dr. Hope (he’s awesome!) performed a test where he lowered her pump settings at set rates to see how her heart performed with less assistance from the pump.
Amazingly, her heart was out performing the pump at each lowering (they went as low as 60% from 100%), vitals stayed steady, her bnp went from 40s to 50s with the lowering, which we are told is a positive sign because her heart didn’t jump up high from the added stress. God is so good!!
Next steps are lowering her pump by 5% each week until we reach 80%, then she will need a cath lab test which will measure the pressures in her heart, checks the function, and identifies blocked arteries, if there are any.
There truly is power in prayer! Thankyou everyone for your prayers and please keep praying for Olivia’s healing and let’s get our baby home by Christmas! ♥️♥️

Nuggie is about to have a test, they will be performing an echo while turning her Berlin heart pump down to see how her heart handles it! If this goes well, we will do a couple of other tests soon that will help determine if we can potentially start slowly turning down her pump over time with the intent of removing it completely! Prayers please!
