On May 1, 2026, Trividia Health Inc., a global leader in diabetes management, provided an important update to the labeling correction it announced on February 6, 2026, on all its TRUE METRIX medical devices. These include: TRUE METRIX AIR, TRUE METRIX GO, and TRUE METRIX PRO Blood Glucose Monitoring kit Systems. Trividia Health wants to ensure that users are aware of the updated instructions for the E-5 Error Code. Users will already be seeing the new E-5 Error Code message in TRUE METRIX Meter boxes and in test strip boxes.

It was a beautiful evening at Brown Club Houston, where alumni had the opportunity to reflect and engage in dialogue with Dr. Ruth J. Simmons, the 18th President of Brown University.

A special thank you to Brown alumna Dr. Susan Chon ‘91 for taking the time to read Dr. Simmons' book, "Up Home: One Girl’s Journey."
Her insights and her thoughts contributed to a meaningful interview, and fostered great conversations that connected
Dr. Simmons' life journey to both past and present experiences that helped her with her life’s journey and purpose to humanity. This conversation also offered valuable advice to all of us for a well prepared future.

I was listening to Radcliffe Webinar on Cardio Renal Metabolic Diseases which showed that SGLT2 class of drugs significantly provide cardioprotective and renoprotective benefits, reducing cardiovascular death and heart failure hospitalizations by up to 35% and delaying chronic kidney disease (CKD) progression.
We know as one ages, the kidney function declines and Metformin is the first line of treatment for Diabetes which is cleared through the kidneys. With Kidney decline many patients are still prescribed Metformin.
We know that 90% of primary care visits are related to these chronic diseases.
I think we should look at the guideline of drugs used in treating and managing CKM diseases for different ages of populations as kidney function declines, and other NCDs for improved therapeutic health outcomes.
