Words of Wisdom: lively talks on inspiring topics

Words of Wisdom: lively talks on inspiring topics "WORDS OF WISDOM: lively talks on inspiring topics" is a monthly speaker series at the Hines Center with interesting minds from all over the Houston area.

THIS IS NOW ON HIATUS! "WORDS OF WISDOM: lively talks on inspiring topics" was a weekly speaker series with interesting people from all over the greater Houston area held each Friday at the Houston Ayurveda Center (www.houstonayurveda.com) from noon-1pm for only $10 to hear experts in the Houston community talk about everything from mindfulness to real estate, from spiritual eating to politics. I

t's like Google in person and a TED talk for an hour. Each session will be intimate and conversational with up to 25 people in attendance. Once a year we'll have a surprise, nationally-known speaker. The talks will be $10/each (there is a small service fee for paying online) and the surprise speaker will be $20/each. Strict limitations on size will be enforced. The Houston Ayurveda Center is located at 3222 Mercer Street, near the corner of Edloe and W. Alabama in River Oaks. You can purchase tickets online here: www.gishcreative.com/clientsvcs.htm. It's recommended that you do that so that you can reserve a seat as seating is limited. These talks are being organized by Sarah Gish, a community leader and founder of Gish Creative (www.gishcreative.com), a personal, family, and business enrichment company that ignites lives, champions culture, and creates connections. WORDS OF WISDOM is an outreach of that mission. Sarah is also doing this ongoing series because she is an info-preneur who loves to inspire, educate, and entertain using information she has gathered. She publishes two e-newsletter/blogs for the Houston community: GISH PICKS: A GUIDE TO CULTURAL ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES (www.gishpicks.com) and SPIRIT PICKS: A GUIDE TO INSPIRING EVENTS IN HOUSTON (www.spiritpicks.com) as well as the largest online searchable database of summer day camps in Houston, THE SUMMER BOOK ONLINE (www.thesummerbook.com). She looks forward to connecting with curious people all over the greater Houston area!
