Today at Century Tree Assisted Living we celebrated the beautiful mothers, grandmothers and women who have loved and cared for generations before us. 💜🌸☕️

Our Mother’s Day Tea Party was such a sweet afternoon filled with laughter, hugs, family and precious memories. The ladies enjoyed dressing up in beautiful hats, sipping tea and coffee, and spending time with the people they love most. 🩷

And let’s talk about the food…because it was GOOD 😍 but no pictures were taken. 🤷🏻‍♀️
We had a chocolate fountain with strawberries, pretzels, marshmallows and shortbread cookies along with cheesecakes in three flavors, muffins in three flavors, cinnamon rolls and donuts…all served with tea, coffee or orange juice. 🍓🍩🍫☕️

One of the most special parts of the day was taking photos of our residents with their families. Those pictures will become keepsakes that will be treasured for years to come. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped make today so beautiful for our residents. The love shown today was felt in every corner of the room…and that’s what Century Tree is all about. 🥰🌷

We had the BEST time at Century Tree Assisted Living welcoming students from the Littlefield National Honor Society for an afternoon of bingo with our residents! ❤️

There is just something special that happens when generations come together like this. The laughter…the conversations…the smiles…it filled our home with so much joy.

Our residents loved visiting with these sweet students, and the students were so kind, patient, and engaged as they helped call numbers, pass out prizes, and sit alongside our residents during the games. Moments like these truly mean more than words can say.

We are so thankful for young people in our community who choose to serve others and spend their time making a difference. You blessed us more than you know!

Thank you, Littlefield National Honor Society, for loving on our residents so well. We can’t wait to have you back again soon!

A big THANK YOU to the sweet family who surprised our residents and staff with Sonic drinks for everyone! 🥤❤️

Since the sunshine showed up, we rolled ourselves right outside, sipped our treats, visited awhile, and even got competitive with our axe-throwing game (don’t worry… the safe kind 😉🪓).

There was lots of laughter, cheering, and a few residents showing off some pretty impressive aim! Days like this remind us how special our Century Tree family really is.

Fresh air + cold Sonic drinks + friends = a really good day at Century Tree Assisted Living 💚

We had another birthday today…Mr. Melvin 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

His birthday wish list was pretty simple… grilled cheeseburgers, German sausage, potato chips, and chocolate cake! 🍔🌭🍰

So of course, Gary stepped outside and did what he loves most…fired up the grill and made it happen! 🔥👨‍🍳

Around here at Century Tree Assisted Living, we believe the best memories are made over good food, big smiles, and a whole lot of love. ❤️

This guy right here is in Atlanta for the next 4 days learning ALL the things from Recteq 🔥
For Christmas, he received the gift of heading to Atlanta and soaking up everything there is to know from the people who truly make some of the best smokers out there for BBQ.

I’m so excited to see what he learns… and I know Gary is too. Classes start tonight, so I have a feeling we’ll be seeing lots of pictures of food…good food…and more great food 🤤❤️

I love you, babe, and I know you’re going to have an absolute blast!!

And THANK YOU for cooking this brisket for our residents at Century Tree this week. 🥹
EVERYONE said it was the best brisket they’ve ever had and I agree!! 🥩🔥❤️

Today wasn’t just any Thursday…it was Ms. Wanda’s birthday!! 🎉🎂

Her special request was roast, potatoes, carrots, green beans, rolls and chocolate pie…and our amazing kitchen manager made every bit of that happen!! 🍽️❤️

Served on the “You Are Special” plate, of course…because she truly is. 🥰

You are special today and every day, Ms. Wanda, and we are so proud to have you with us!! 💕

Today was Ms. Linda’s birthday and a few weeks ago she made her request loud and clear…
“KFC with ALL the fixings.” 😄

So we got to work strategizing how to pick up fried chicken for 20 people at the KFC in Levelland…and still have lunch on the table by noon in Littlefield. Mission accomplished. ✔️🙌

Steak 🥩, baked potatoes 🥔, salad 🥗 and cherry cobbler 🍒…because it’s Ms. Virginia’s birthday and that was her request! She was even served on the “You Are Special” red plate. ❤️

The Lamb County Sheriff’s Office stopped by Century Tree Assisted Living today and absolutely made our residents’ day! 🥰 Every single resident received a brand new fuzzy blanket, and I was told this is something they do every year. 🧺✨

But the best part? They didn’t just drop them off…they handed them out, visited, laughed, and spent time talking with our residents. That personal touch meant everything. ❤️

So thankful (and proud!) to own a business in Lamb County and support a Sheriff’s Office that truly shows up and looks like Jesus. 🤍👮‍♂️

From December 7th…

The Sudan Church of Christ came out to Century Tree Assisted Living and absolutely filled our home with joy. ❤️ They sang with our residents for over 30 minutes…and if you know our residents, you know they loved every single minute of it.

Then they surprised everyone with the sweetest gift…personalized cups with each resident’s name on them 🥹❤️ AND they brought pizza and desserts for everyone to enjoy!!

I am so thankful for a community that doesn’t forget our residents. In the middle of an already busy Christmas season, they chose to slow down, show up, and love on our people in such a meaningful way.

Thank you, Sudan Church of Christ, for truly looking like Jesus. ❤️
