I was sitting with this thought recently: it’s almost been three years since I started this journey as an entrepreneur.

We see each other’s highlight reels, the milestones, the wins. What we don’t see is what’s happening behind the scenes. The prayers no one hears. The late nights of uncertainty.

The days when money is inconsistent and you’re asking, “Lord, did I hear You correctly?”

The tears. The sacrifices.

Obedience sometimes looks like following God when the path doesn’t make sense, when He says do this and you want to do that.

No one told me obedience would feel this lonely. But I’ve also found God in a way I never would have otherwise.

Obedience doesn’t always feel good. But I can say I’ve truly learned to trust His presence, even in the darkest moments.

If you’re in a season where obedience feels quieter than you expected — where it doesn’t look like what you hoped — you are not alone.

Sometimes it’s hard to remind yourself what scripture says when you’re overwhelmed. You know the Word. You know God is near. But in the moment, your mind can’t always get there first.

Sometimes you have to get your body on board before your mind can follow.

Your body knows you’re overwhelmed before your mind catches up. Tight chest. Racing thoughts. That feeling of just... too much.

Here’s something you can try when you need to reset: the butterfly tap.

Cross your arms over your chest, like you’re giving yourself a hug. Then gently tap, side to side, slow and steady…almost like a heartbeat.

You can close your eyes if that feels comfortable.
It sounds simple because it is. But simple doesn’t mean small. This is a real grounding tool, and sometimes all your nervous system needs is to feel safe again, even just for a minute.

You don’t have to have it all figured out today. You just have to come back to yourself.
