I was sitting with this thought recently: it’s almost been three years since I started this journey as an entrepreneur.
We see each other’s highlight reels, the milestones, the wins. What we don’t see is what’s happening behind the scenes. The prayers no one hears. The late nights of uncertainty.
The days when money is inconsistent and you’re asking, “Lord, did I hear You correctly?”
The tears. The sacrifices.
Obedience sometimes looks like following God when the path doesn’t make sense, when He says do this and you want to do that.
No one told me obedience would feel this lonely. But I’ve also found God in a way I never would have otherwise.
Obedience doesn’t always feel good. But I can say I’ve truly learned to trust His presence, even in the darkest moments.
If you’re in a season where obedience feels quieter than you expected — where it doesn’t look like what you hoped — you are not alone.
