Same total testosterone ≠ same free testosterone.

SHBG can significantly change how much testosterone is actually free at any given total T level.

That’s why total T, free T, and SHBG should be interpreted together—and always in the context of the patient.

Sometimes something works, but we learn the wrong lesson about why it worked.

Low-carb helped me lose a ton of weight as a teenager, so for decades I assumed carbs were the problem.

They weren’t.

Today I eat far more carbohydrates, fuel my training better, and I’m leaner than I’ve ever been.

Turns out, context and energy balance matter a lot more than demonizing a macronutrient.

Maybe being a little vain isn’t such a bad thing.

There’s a big difference between trying to live a certain way and seeing those behaviors as part of who you are.

Goals give you something to work toward. Identity can help you stay consistent when the motivation disappears.

Decide who you are, and then prove it to yourself over and over.

There’s something really special about moments like this.

As a parent, it’s incredibly gratifying to watch your kids recognize the healthy habits you’ve tried to model for them and start choosing those things for themselves.

Not because I need them to love the gym or live exactly the way I do, but because I want to give them the best foundation I can for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.

I’m incredibly proud of my kids and the people they’re growing into.

They’re always watching. Hopefully we give them something worth emulating. ❤️

We don’t all experience hunger and appetite the same way.

That doesn’t eliminate personal responsibility, and these two problems obviously have very different consequences.

The point is simply that fighting against your appetite can be difficult in either direction.

Maybe we shouldn’t treat one as a character flaw.

Sildenafil and tadalafil are both effective for ED, but they offer different advantages.

Sildenafil may provide a stronger, more noticeable response for some men. Tadalafil provides greater flexibility, lasts much longer, and can also be taken daily.

The best medication is the one that works reliably and fits the patient’s lifestyle.

Am I right or am I right?? “Processed” does not automatically mean unhealthy or unsafe. Many nutritious foods are technically processed, which is why the term has become increasingly unhelpful in everyday dietary advice.

Maybe “junk food” is less scientific, but at least it’s less likely to be misconstrued.

Lifting weights is great for your health, but training to build a standout physique requires a little more intention.

Specificity, intensity, progressive overload, and recovery.

You don’t need an impressive physique to be healthy, fit, or attractive. But if that’s your goal, train for it intentionally.

Speaking confidently, using word salad, and contradicting professional consensus without compelling evidence are great ways to get attention, but none of that gives you credibility.

The food industry works hard to influence your choices, but it can’t make them for you.

The best defense against misleading food marketing is understanding the fundamentals of nutrition.

Eat mostly whole foods. Get enough protein and fiber. Control your calorie intake. Everything else is secondary, so don’t get wrapped up in the nonsense.

The more you understand nutrition, the less power misleading marketing has over you.

Focus on what you can control.
