I am living Jacah was abused at the very young age of 5 months old. He suffers from shaken baby syndrome, seizure disorder, cerebral palsy and mental retardation. This page is dedicated to him to show how God continues to perform miracles in his life. Let's take a stand against child abuse together!

Friday, August 28: Superhero Kickoff Dance Party from 6:00–9:00 PM at the Moody Gardens Pyramid Visitor Center.

Saturday, August 29: Come cheer on our contestants during the walking parade! Parade starts at 6:00 PM from the Moody Gardens Hotel lobby to the Pyramid Visitor Center. The Mr. Wonderful Pageant begins at 6:30 PM.

Everything is FREE to attend! Bring your family and friends and come help us make these amazing guys feel extra special! 💙

Got my new arm gear today!! 💪🏿 For the next 4 weeks I will be sporting this cast in my favorite color. This was the most pain I've felt since this incident happened.

Today was one of those days that reminds me how quickly life can change.

While Jacah was in physical therapy today, his therapist felt a pop near his elbow, and his arm immediately went limp. We rushed to Texas Children's Hospital, and after X-rays, we learned that he has a fracture in his left arm.

As special needs parents, we fight so hard to get our children every opportunity possible—physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, feeding therapy—because we want them to be stronger, healthier, and as independent as they can be. We celebrate every milestone.

But today reminded me that even the things meant to help our children can sometimes come with unexpected risks.

One thing about my superhero... he amazed us all today. He never cried. He only gave us a few facial expressions that let us know he was uncomfortable, but he remained the strong young man he has always been.

Tomorrow we meet with Orthopedics to find out what our next steps will be. We would truly appreciate your prayers for healing, wisdom, and a smooth recovery.

I also wanted to ask my fellow special needs parents:

Have you ever experienced an injury during therapy or because of your child's muscle tone, bones, or physical condition? If so, what happened, and what did recovery look like?

Sometimes hearing someone else's journey helps prepare another caregiver for theirs.

Today was scary, but we're trusting God to carry us through this one too. ❤️

I haven't posted much, but this summer has hit me with a hard reality; THE CHANGE is really happening.
June and July were filled with:
🦼Equipment orders/replacements
⚡️Much needed EEG
🦷Dentist appointment
🏥doctors appointments and all things transitioning to adulthood.
We always have time to throw in a little lunch and enjoyed the winds that the rain brought in last week.

I have a little over 2 months before my 20th birthday and I'm excited to see what my mommy has in store! Now that things are slowing down (mainly due to vehicle issues) we're not letting anything come between our adventures for the rest of the year!

🚨 🚨

As we continue to celebrate our guardianship, I want to thank everyone for their comments and phone calls. Some of you have been with us through our entire journey and others have rocked with us from day 1 of . We love and appreciate you all!!

Today, however I don't know what Mr. Jefferson has going on, but we are admitted in the ICU at Texas Children’s Hospital. He woke up this morning very groggy, no smiles, and breathing fast. Since I think the answer to everything is p**p, we did his morning routine, but his O² kept dropping while his heart rate elevated. I packed a bag and here we are. I pray we are catching whatever it is in time and with a little overnight maintenance we can come home tomorrow.

Please keep us in your prayers, but don't stop the celebrations!!

Today, a prayer years in the making was answered.

On June 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the court officially named my "Step-Grandma" (my mama), Stacy Williams, as my legal guardian.

Many people see a court order. We see a journey.

A journey that began when I was just a baby. Through hospital stays, surgeries, therapy appointments, sleepless nights, setbacks, victories, and countless prayers, she never left my side.

When others saw obstacles, she saw possibilities.
When doctors gave reports, she gave hope.
When life got hard, she got stronger.

She has loved me, protected me, advocated for me, and fought for me every single day.

Today doesn't change who she has been to me all these years. It simply puts in writing what God already knew.

To my Mama: Thank you for choosing me every day. Thank you for being my voice when I couldn't speak, my strength when I was weak, and my biggest champion through it all.

This guardianship is not just a legal achievement. It is a testimony of faith, perseverance, unconditional love, and God's perfect timing.

Today we celebrate.
