I am living Jacah was abused at the very young age of 5 months old. He suffers from shaken baby syndrome, seizure disorder, cerebral palsy and mental retardation. As we continue to celebrate our guardianship, I want to thank everyone for their comments and phone calls. Some of you have been with us through our entire journey and others have rocked with us from day 1 of . We love and appreciate you all!!

Today, however I don't know what Mr. Jefferson has going on, but we are admitted in the ICU at Texas Children’s Hospital. He woke up this morning very groggy, no smiles, and breathing fast. Since I think the answer to everything is p**p, we did his morning routine, but his O² kept dropping while his heart rate elevated. I packed a bag and here we are. I pray we are catching whatever it is in time and with a little overnight maintenance we can come home tomorrow.

Please keep us in your prayers, but don't stop the celebrations!!

Today, a prayer years in the making was answered.

On June 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the court officially named my "Step-Grandma" (my mama), Stacy Williams, as my legal guardian.

Many people see a court order. We see a journey.

A journey that began when I was just a baby. Through hospital stays, surgeries, therapy appointments, sleepless nights, setbacks, victories, and countless prayers, she never left my side.

When others saw obstacles, she saw possibilities.
When doctors gave reports, she gave hope.
When life got hard, she got stronger.

She has loved me, protected me, advocated for me, and fought for me every single day.

Today doesn't change who she has been to me all these years. It simply puts in writing what God already knew.

To my Mama: Thank you for choosing me every day. Thank you for being my voice when I couldn't speak, my strength when I was weak, and my biggest champion through it all.

This guardianship is not just a legal achievement. It is a testimony of faith, perseverance, unconditional love, and God's perfect timing.

Today we celebrate.

As a caregiver who spent more than 100 nights sleeping beside my son's ICU bed, I know firsthand that parents and caregivers rarely leave their child's side. They sleep in chairs, skip meals, and hold onto hope through some of the darkest nights imaginable.
