Clinical trials will be started in the second quarter of 2016 by a pharmaceutical company on the east coast that believes cannabis-infused chewing gum may provide an alternative to edibles that may be very useful for patients with specific conditions like Multiple Sclerosis. This company will be working closely with the FDA to learn more about the properties offered by medicinal cannabis-infused chewing gum.
