A little life update because I’ve been a bit quiet over here… 🌿🤍
If you’ve ever planned a wedding, especially a backyard wedding, you know it turns into a full-time project. Between landscaping, painting, hauling mulch, planting flowers, house projects, vendor emails, and the endless little details, our days have been packed from sunrise until we finally sit down at night.
And while my routine doesn’t look “perfect” right now, going through this fitness journey has taught me that consistency has never been about perfection… it’s about adaptation.
I’m still choosing home-cooked meals most of the time because they make me feel my best. I’m still strength training when I can, counting hours of yardwork as real movement, and adding a walk outside on the days my body and mind need it. I’m still going out for dinner, celebrating, and enjoying this season of life without guilt.
Some weeks I lock in a little more. Some weeks I simply focus on the basics.
That’s the beauty of building sustainable habits. They don’t disappear when life gets busy. They bend with you.
So if you’re in a season that feels chaotic, whether you’re planning a wedding, raising kids, building a career, or just trying to keep your head above water, remember that progress isn’t made by doing everything perfectly. It’s made by continuing to show up in small ways, over and over again.
Now excuse me while I go paint the exterior of my house and answer 47 wedding emails. 🌸💪😂
