STANHOPE STABLES MEETING THIS THURSDAY
The application for the sale of the Land Development Rights will be heard by the Suffolk County Farmland Committe on Thursday November 16th at 5:30 PM at the Kermit W. Graf Cornell Cooperative Extension Building, 423 Griffing Avenue, Riverhead, N.Y 1st Floor Conference Room.
This Committee will vote on and recommend to the Suffolk County Legislature the purchase of the land development rights of Stanhope Stables. This will allow the stables to remain farmland in perpetuity.
The Planning Department is the Department presenting it to the Farmland Committee who would then present it to the Legislature for vote hopefully on Dec 5.
