Say It Sow

10/06/2026

🍂 Hello, October, Say It Sow families! 🎃
Fall brings plenty of opportunities to grow speech and language skills! While taking a walk, cooking, or playing outside, talk about changing leaves, pumpkins, apples, and cooler weather.

🗣️ Try “Fall Talk”
Encourage your child to describe what they see using colors, sizes, and location words:
🍁 “The red leaf is on the ground.”
🎃 “I see a big orange pumpkin.”

🔎 Activity of the Month: Fall Scavenger Hunt
Look for leaves, acorns, sticks, and pinecones! Practice speech sounds, name and describe your discoveries, and follow directions such as, “Find a leaf and put it in the basket.”

📅 October Events
💛 Respite Night: Join us at the clinic for fun and activities while caregivers enjoy some time for themselves. See our Respite Night flyer for details.

🍬 Trunk or Treat
Join us for treats, decorated trunks, and community fun!
