Not gonna say much bc I don’t want the water works to start. I’m so THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL for this day and every day that we have with Adam. I can’t wait to see all the great things that are ahead of him. Once again we thank you all for your love and support, prayers and gifts. They say it takes a village but for us it took a team. We love you !

Aiden McWhorter, a Riley cancer survivor, had his first day of kindergarten! His picture before heading off to school illustrates how much has changed for him since his first day of radiation.

His mom said she couldn’t help but quote Harry Potter as Aiden climbed onto the school bus as “the boy who lived.”

Aiden was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma just days after his first birthday in 2019. He underwent five rounds of chemotherapy, 12 rounds of radiation and more. Aiden relapsed in 2020. Once again, Aiden had to go through chemotherapy and radiation. The journey made the moment Aiden was able to ring the bell, to mark the end of treatment, so special to his family.

Good luck to Aiden and all the other kids starting off the school year!

It’s Party Day! Come celebrate with us! Bundy Lodge 2-5. Don’t want to celebrate RJ, Adam or Drew, that’s OK. Then come celebrate with the ones that kissed the boo boo’s, did homework, talked to teachers, did classroom parties, prayed for answers and lost sleep over them just making it to graduation. We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you.
