It’s about that time!!! You may see Junior Guards USA near and around your area working hard. Say hi, encourage, run with us, give hi-fives!!! These Junior Guards will be going for runs, swims doing body resistant workouts, rescue training, fi****ms work, medical support from Quantico, VA, Azores Islands, Portugal to May Sariang, Thailand and around the coastal empire from Richmond Hill to the Islands. You’ll know them by their red shirts, sweat, mud, blood, smiles and hard work. We find whatever we can use, wherever we are, whatever resources around us to execute the goal in front of us. Building Commitment, Resilience and Fortitude one Guard at a time! LETs GO!!!!!!!!

Junior Guards USA was recognized as the Volunteer of the Year along with Sam Oughtred of the Young Entrepreneur Club at Tybee Island Maritime Academy this morning. It was humbling to hear the words highlighting JGUSA’s attributes. Working with TIMA has been one of the most rewarding and honoring projects I’ve had in my career. The administration, teachers and staff have been incredibly supportive and welcoming these past 4 years and we look forward to the next several years! A special thank you to Coach Noel Ingram for her relentless support of our program and Executive Director Peter Ulrich for his leadership and inclusion. Junior Guards USA is humbled and honored to continue our mission with TIMA. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Tybee Island Maritime Academy & Junior Guards USA Coast Guard Day tomorrow Friday, May 15th!!!

Tomorrow is our annual field trip to our Coast Guard stations in Savannah with the Junior Guard USA TIMA Club Members U.S COAST GUARD U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Savannah USCG Station Tybee, GA

845 Depart TIMA for Hunter Army Airfield
1030 Depart Hunter AF for Station Tybee
1100 Arrive at the National Park Service Pulaski Memorial for lunch
1130 Arrive at Station Tybee on Fort Pulaski
1230 Depart Station Tybee for TIMA
100 Arrive on the beach 6th St Walkover
115-300 Final test, CPR/FA refresher and Beach Activities/Competition
315 Coast Guard Helo Fly-By (tentative depending on weather and flight operations)

Please, ensure to pack a lunch, a towel, change of clothes, swimsuit (No need for a wetsuit), running shoes and WATER!
