📣 Event Cancelled 📣

Hello everyone,
 
I wanted to share an update regarding the Fall/Winter Reset Retreat. As I mentioned previously, planning an experience of this kind requires a significant amount of coordination, preparation, and confirmed participation. Because we did not receive enough responses by the required booking deadline, I have made the difficult decision to cancel the formal retreat.
In place of the retreat, a smaller group of us will be taking time for a road trip, reflection, and a little much-needed downtime. We have lovingly named this adventure, “I’ve Always Wanted, Too and Welp, Now I Did!”

My hope is that each of you experiences a fall season filled with kindness, peace, and opportunities to reset in the ways that serve you best. I look forward to resuming our seasonal resets after the new year. Happy Labor Day

The irony of the day is not lost on me as we are set to celebrate a national day of celebrating the workers who've built our nation. That many of those workers who we are celebrating do not get to have a day off to be celebrated.

Started around the time of the Industrial Revolution, the significance of Labor Day has been rooted in the safety of our workers, fair pay, safer working conditions, a unionized workforce, and a 40 hour work week.

Although originally stated in the industrial sector, these concepts and considerations have expanded over time to include occupations such as nursing which has long suffered from similar workplace challenges, however, up until recent years has not been fully recognized or afforded the same protections.

While we've seen a significant shift in our industry as a whole to ensure the safety of our workforce, it's not lost on me that a number of my fellow nurses, nurses aides, dining staff, and EVS workers continue to struggle and fight for things such as safe nurse to patient ratios, flexible and fair schedules, and compensation for their labor that supports their families.

The irony of the day is that for many of us in the healthcare industry, or in various service industries are actively working today because the care of people is constant. Patients can't be left and illness doesn't care that there is a parade or a picnic to attend. That's the reality of our jobs and the reason why it's vital that we continue to fight for the rights of our workers ( in ALL industries).👷‍♀️👨‍🍳👩‍🚒👩🏾‍⚕️👩‍🔬👩‍⚖️🧑🏾‍💻👩‍🏫 💁🏾‍♀️

NEED YOUR FEEDBACK ASAP!!

Wow! 🤯 ok so the responses back regarding the Fall/ Winter Reset Retreat had been very positive. Now I'd really like to narrow done intent to join asap and lock in accommodations. The tentative dates are 11/13-11/15/2026 with overnight guests arriving Friday and departing Sunday and Day Pass guests joining us for the day 11/14/2026. Again, your feedback is really appreciated, I'll tag our new questionnaire link in my stories, however, you can also access the link on the LeadWhole Coaching LeadWhole University webpage as well.

This retreat has limited space availability so locking in your interest asap is super helpful for planning. The questionnaire is only about 6 questions but are vital to our planning 😊💁🏾‍♀️🫟
