It doesn’t come overnight. These are four years apart, after my first coat of tan for both competitions. I do this as a hobby. I’m not trying to go pro, be a sponsored athlete or anything like that. Over the course of those 4 years I’d say I’ve been consistent 80% of the time. The other 20% where I wasn’t as focused or disciplined comes from hardships of life itself, travel, minor injuries, eating/drinking, just having fun, etc. Doesn’t mean I quit working out or eating healthy (for the most part). And by the way, when I committed to this last show in August I was all in! I’m mainly talking about when I’m focused on other things, like right now work being more important. Be pretty amazing to see what I would have looked like if during those 4 years I would been 100% committed. What I’m trying to get at is most people who make excuses don’t even try. They give excuses as to why they can look a certain way. 90% of the time it’s complete bs. However, like most things in life, if you want something bad enough you’ll throw everything else aside, not make excuses and most importantly BE CONSISTENT!
