It’s been a while since I post any updates, mainly because life keeps happening and it’s hard to keep up-but I wanted to take a moment and let you know of some great achievements. Bronze Healthcare Initiative has reached out and found a contributor to join along side Project Hope for Uganda Women to help build Bronze Medical Hospital. With our combined efforts, we are very close to completing our PERMANENT medical facility. I will have more updates coming soon. Wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who contributes!

Bronze Medical works hard 24/7 to provide a safe environment for all women to deliver. This young mother was found alone and in labor by a stranger. She was brought to Bronze and was able to have a safe and healthy delivery! This woman is very lucky because most women do not have this outcome. Since working in Busia we have increased maternal and infant survival by offering free healthcare education, contraception, and providing a safe and medically trained environment to deliver. Bronze is very proud to announce the doors of our hospital will be opening soon!

In December, we made the announcement that we were going to take our facility from a level three trauma center to a hospital. We bought land. We broke ground. We built walls. We put on a roof. It’s time to finish what we started. We are so close.

To finish, we need interior supplies and indoor plumbing. We need $8,000.00 to finish this. I know that seems like a lot, but look how far we have come; 8k is like a pebble in the Great Wall.
