Today's the day! 🥳 Starting at 10am, drop off your tickets at the Jackson Civic Center and pick up some bling (for anyone with at least 1 ticket) and a T-shirt (at least 3 tickets). Please remember that everything is first-come, first-serve. We can't wait to see you sporting your shirts, stickers and magnets!

On your way out, please thank the Civic Center staff for helping us again with ticket collection and prize distribution.

P.S. If you had extra tickets set aside for any reason (we ran out of tickets, you completed the survey, etc.), we have those set aside and will add them in for the drawing. 👍🏼

That's all, folks! Today wraps up Jackson Moves 2026.

Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers at our featured locations who filled this summer with wonder and movement. You make all the difference.

For our participants: The T-shirts are ready, but we have some extra bling still in transit! So starting next Wednesday, July 29 at 10AM, you can turn in your tickets at the Jackson Civic Center to earn a T-shirt (requiring at least 3 tickets) and some surprise bling (any number of tickets). Please remember that participation prizes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets must be turned in by Tuesday, August 4 at 5:00pm.

While you're waiting to turn in your tickets, please take this year's survey to earn an extra ticket! We have received 6 responses already, but we want to hear from you, too.

It’s the last week of Jackson Moves, and we’re celebrating with a location that is home to some our favorite people: first responders!

The new fire station is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, and you can enter by ringing the doorbell. Please keep in mind that even during these hours, firefighters may be unavailable because they are responding to a call and/or assisting with Homecomers. If staff is available, ask about a tour of the facilities, completing the scavenger hunt, and picking up some fire safety swag. Finally, grab one ticket per participant from the tin, which can be accessed 24/7 outside the front entrance.

Did you know the first non-Catholic church west of the Mississippi is just 2 minutes from Harps!?

Join us in visiting Old Bethel Baptist Church this week. The parking lot will be open Monday through Thursday from 10am-2pm. It’s a perfect spot for a picnic lunch and gentle exploration. While there, find the ticket tin at the restored church building and try to complete the bingo activity using the information in the Old Bethel pamphlets. Then, of course, grab 1 ticket per participant after returning the bingo materials.

If you’ve never visited before, Google Maps works perfectly for directions and there are plenty of signs along the way. Please do note that there are 2-3 inches of water over “Little Jordan River” which you will cross on your way to the parking lot.

The highs may not be in the 90s, but it’s still plenty hot out there… perfect weather for the splash pad!

If you haven’t yet visited the splash pad at the Jackson City Pool, it’s a great place to beat the heat. It’s also open from 8am and 8pm, so you can take in as much (or as little) sunshine as you like. And also completely free! Don’t forget to grab one ticket per person on your way out.
