Healthcare education is strongest when learning is connected. Foundational sciences build understanding. Clinical experiences strengthen judgment. Trusted clinical resources support bedside decision-making. Together, they prepare providers for the realities of patient care.

At TDS Health, we partner with academic institutions and healthcare organizations alike, supporting students, educators, residents, and clinicians at every stage of the healthcare journey. Our connected portfolio bridges the gap between theory and clinical application, helping schools prepare competent graduates and helping healthcare organizations prepare confident, practice-ready teams.

Because stronger healthcare begins with stronger preparation, and whether that preparation happens in a lecture hall or at the bedside, every practice-ready provider has the potential to improve patient outcomes.

NEW TITLE Now Available from American Academy of Pediatrics!

Pediatrics for Underserved Populations realistic is a compassionate guide for pediatric professionals. In this book you will find primary care strategies for promoting better health and developmental outcomes in low-resourced, high-density urban environments, where many of the communities face structural and historical inequities.

The contributors acknowledge the challenges faced by children and families in these settings and the ways that social drivers of health affect many different aspects of health and well-being. But, they also describe the innovative programs developed at their own and other institutions, which have long histories of caring for children at high risk for poor long-term health outcomes. The editors draw on the expertise of academic pediatricians who have found ways to address social determinants of health with creative, clinic-based support for families.

Empowering Library Teams, One Session at a Time

A strong foundation in anatomy is essential for clinical and health education students. That's why our Client Engagement team recently led a training session for library directors across the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) system walking through Primal Pictures https://hubs.li/Q04vhyVc0's key features and how they support faculty and student needs.

As one attendee put it:
"Friendly, good cadence for explaining such a large topic."

Whether it's a first introduction or a refresher, our team is committed to supporting our clients from every angle including training, promotional resources, and beyond.

Happy GME Professionals Day!

Behind every great residency and fellowship program is a team that rarely gets the spotlight but makes everything run: program coordinators, administrators, directors, and the many other GME professionals who keep training programs moving forward.

They manage accreditation demands, support residents and fellows through some of the most formative years of their careers, coordinate with faculty, and handle the countless operational details that make medical education possible. It's a role that requires organization, patience, genuine care, and it directly shapes how well-prepared our future physicians are to care for patients and communities.

At TDS Health, we see firsthand how much this work matters to the strength of the healthcare workforce. Today, we're grateful for everyone in GME roles who does this work with dedication, day in and day out.

Happy Graduate Medical Education (GME) Professionals Day! 🎉

Today, we celebrate the dedicated program coordinators, administrators, directors, and other GME professionals whose expertise and commitment help residency and fellowship programs thrive.

Behind every successful training program is a team of professionals working every day to support learners, faculty, accreditation requirements, and program operations. Their efforts help ensure tomorrow’s physicians are prepared to meet the evolving health needs of patients and communities.

The AAMC thanks all GME professionals for the critical role they play in shaping the future of medicine.

Thank you to the Association for Hospital Medical Education (AHME) for establishing GME Professionals Day and helping shine a light on these essential contributions.

✨ Employee Spotlight: Shelby Newman ✨

With a passion for education, a heart for her community, and plenty of Florida pride, Shelby Newman brings a unique perspective to the TDS Health team.

A lifelong Florida resident, Shelby holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Florida and spent 14 years as an elementary and middle school teacher. Today, she enjoys connecting with clients, understanding their needs, supporting their academic goals, and collaborating with the TDS team to help advance healthcare education.

Fun fact: In 1996, Shelby and her late mother, Sandy, were nominated and selected to carry the Olympic Torch during the Summer Olympics in Atlanta. 🏅 The honor recognized their commitment to serving their local community. What an incredible experience and a truly special memory to share with her mother.

Outside of work, Shelby enjoys road trips with her husband, Josh, and their Great Pyrenees, Emmitt. She also loves playing and watching tennis, cheering on her Florida Gators, watching golf, skiing, boating, spending time with family and friends, and giving back to her community.

We’re grateful to have Shelby’s passion for education, collaborative spirit, and commitment to making a difference on the TDS Health team! 👏
