URGENT 🚨

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY FOR FLORIDA FAMILIES.

Buried in the Florida Senate budget language is a provision that could effectively slam the brakes on thousands of people waiting for APD waiver services.

The language says APD cannot send additional enrollment offers from the waitlist unless specifically authorized by the Legislature.

Read that again.

Families may now be expected to wait until they are in CRISIS before help comes.

Community supports keep people safe, stable, and out of institutions and emergency systems.
