another child is being diagnosed with cancer.

That’s potentially 240 children receiving news no child should ever have to hear.

September 1st is here. 💛✨

That means 30 days of timelines turning gold. 30 days of sharing stories, honoring warriors, celebrating survivors, remembering angels, and shining a light on a fight that is still far from over.

Every single day, 43 kids in the United States are diagnosed with cancer. That’s 43 families whose lives are changed in an instant. 43 kids who deserve better than the treatments we’re still using today: treatments that can be decades old, incredibly harsh, and leave behind lifelong effects.

At Fourth and Gold, we believe kids deserve better, and we’re doing something about it. In just 4.5 years, we’ve been the sole funders of more than $576,000 in groundbreaking childhood cancer research. That’s $576,000 invested in better treatments, better options, and ultimately, cures that don’t break kids to save them.

Throughout September, we’ll be bringing you the stories, the stats, the giveaways, the gold, and plenty of ways to get involved, but more than anything, we want to bring you the truth about childhood cancer.

Kids deserve more than 4% of research funding. They deserve to THRIVE, not just survive.

Today, 455 Childhood Cancer Awareness shirts are officially being shipped out! 📦💛

The names printed on these shirts represent real childhood cancer warriors: survivors, children who are currently fighting, and angels whose families carry their stories forward every single day. Every name matters, every name deserves to be remembered and every name deserves to be represented.

When you wear one of these shirts throughout September, you’re not just wearing Fourth and Gold. You’re carrying someone’s story with you. You’re helping keep their name visible, honoring the battles they’ve fought, celebrating the survivors, and remembering the children we have lost.

This is what awareness looks like. It looks like people choosing to stand up, speak out, and make childhood cancer impossible to ignore.

Jax, it's time to turn our city gold for the 5th year in a row 💛

We’re bringing our community together for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we’d love for YOU to be there.
