I use a recipe from our Veterinarian. Turkey, Liver, peas, broccoli, carrots, coconut oil, turmeric,& Rice.

I found my FAVORITE freeze-dried candy at The Route Cellar today!! 🍬🙌

My girl Tyra with SweeTeeze Freeze Dried Candy & Treats is seriously THE CANDY QUEEN! 👑

And those Jolly Puffs?? Y’all, they are my absolute go-to when that sweet tooth kicks in. I may or may not have been a little too excited when I spotted them today.

My dehydrated Strawberry Love Bites pair perfectly with them, too! 🍓

🚨 I’M LOOKING FOR A JUNIOR RED BAG PANELIST! 🚨

Auntie Helen’s Kitchen is adding a very special new member to the Red Bag Panel, and this time I’m looking for a kiddo between the ages of 6 and 12!

But I’m not looking for just any kid. 😂

I need someone who is outgoing, VERY opinionated, adventurous with food, and not afraid to tell Auntie Helen exactly what they think! If they love something, I want to know why. If they don’t like it, I want to hear that too.

Why a Junior Panelist?

Because my little customers matter to me too. ❤️ I joke that I’m the aunt who can get kids to eat their vegetables, but there’s actually something pretty important behind that.

I want to create snacks that kids genuinely WANT to eat, while giving parents options they can feel good about bringing home. My dried fruits and vegetables contain no artificial dyes, and many families, including some with children who have ADHD or other sensitivities, specifically look for foods without artificial colors. I want those families to have fun snack choices too.

Kids also see food completely differently than adults do. A grown-up may love a flavor or package, while a 9-year-old takes one look and says, “Nope.” 😂 I need that honesty!

My Junior Red Bag Panelist will get to try select AHK products FREE, give me their opinion on flavors, names, packaging and new ideas, and even get the chance to help name an upcoming Auntie Helen’s Kitchen product!

And yes, they’ll have some serious Junior Red Bag Panel bragging rights! ❤️

Parents/guardians: If you have a 6–12 year old who is full of personality, loves giving their opinion and would take this job VERY seriously 😂, comment below or message me and tell me a little about why they’d be perfect for it.

🍎 APPLE SPA DAY 🍎

Before an apple ever makes it onto the racks, it gets the full Auntie Helen’s Kitchen spa treatment!

Every apple gets a bath in hot vinegar water. The vinegar helps loosen dirt, surface residue and that waxy coating you often find on apples.

Then comes the elbow grease! 💪🍎

Each apple is scrubbed by hand with a mesh cloth to help remove that wax and anything left on the surface. After that, the stems are removed and every apple gets checked over before slicing.

It takes extra time, but this is one step I don’t rush. I want those apples CLEAN before Dexter ever gets a chance at them! 😂

Then it’s time for Dexter to slice, season and load those dehydrator racks.
