Pharmacist Intern Duties & Responsibilities
Perform duties akin to a pharmacist including but not limited to:
Provide excellent customer service, resolve issues in a timely manner, and develop relationships with patients and customers
Fill prescriptions accurately and counsel patients on their medications
Ensure the pharmacy follows all regulations and policies.
Collaborate with other pharmacy staff and develop a workflow that is both efficient and meticulous.
Be proactive in performing services offered by the pharmacy (ex: refills, Covid testing, vaccinations)
Maintain good relationships with healthcare professionals
Obtain necessary certifications, education credits such as CEs, and training
Work the hours to meet the needs of the department and be punctual at all times
Be up to date on current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare by watching news, reading pharmacy related journals, and following other sources of information
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Speaks English
Detail-oriented and proactive
