UPDATE: Charlie missed his pulmonary follow-up this morning... we ended up in the ED instead.
I'm an early bird. Up btw 3-4 every morning. I woke up and charlie was not in bed. I came down to find him having severe chest pains, so that's where our day went. Out the door by 4Β³β°. Hours of tests later, this is what they sent us home with:
"At this time there does not appear to be an emergent life threatening cause to explain your symptoms. You are stable for discharge."
No answers. And he is still having chest pain.
On top of that, the scan showed a 3mm nodule at the top of his right lung not seen on his previous studies. So we left the emergency department with the same pain he came in with, and more things to be afraid of.
I don't have anything hopeful to wrap this up with tonight. Just thank you for the prayers β we need every one of them. π
Hopefully he will feel better enough to make it to his rescheduled Pulmonary tomorrow
