Today, August 31, is International Overdose Awareness Day—a time to remember those we have lost, support families affected by addiction, and renew our commitment to ending overdose deaths in our community.

Overdose can touch any family, but recovery and prevention are always possible. Knowing the signs of an overdose and having access to life-saving tools like Naloxone (Narcan) can make all the difference.

💜 Recognize the signs of an overdose:
• Unresponsiveness or loss of consciousness
• Slow, shallow, or stopped breathing
• Pinpoint pupils
• Cold, clammy skin, or discolored lips/fingernails
