๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’› BIG BLOOMING NEWS! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’›

Dora Pearl Reed with the Blooming Bridges Foundation is incredibly thankful, deeply honored, & SO excited to announce that The Blooming Bridges Foundation is putting down roots in their first location! ๐Ÿ’

Our new offices will officially open in October 2026!

We believe big milestones deserve to be celebrated with the community that helped make them possible, & weโ€™re thrilled to announce our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on October 19th, 2026 at 11 am, in partnership with the Webb City Chamber of Commerce, & Carl Junction Chamber โœ‚๏ธ๐ŸŽ€โœ‚๏ธ

We are truly grateful for the support, encouragement, partnerships, & community connections that have helped The Blooming Bridges Foundation grow to where we are today. This next chapter is more than opening a doorโ€”itโ€™s about creating a place where people can walk through that door feeling supported, empowered, connected, & hopeful.

So, what will we be assisting with?

At The Blooming Bridges Foundation, we help individuals & families navigate those โ€œhow do I even begin?โ€ moments by connecting them with resources, support network, guidance, community services, & opportunities that can help them move forward.

Whether someone needs help finding the right resources, navigating services, building connections, or simply figuring out their next step, The Blooming Bridges Foundation is here to help bridge the gaps & make the journey a little less overwhelming.
Weโ€™re honored to serve our communities & excited to continue building bridgesโ€”one connection, one conversation, & one person at a time. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’› So mark your calendars, bring your smiles, & come help us cut a ribbon & celebrate a beautiful new beginning! ๐ŸŽ€โœ‚๏ธ

The Blooming Bridges Foundation is bloomingโ€”and we couldnโ€™t be more grateful to have you along for the journey.

12 PSYCHOLOGY TRUTHS THAT CUT DEEP

1. Anger often hides deeper emotions.
Behind anger, there may be pain, fear, disappointment, or unresolved hurt that hasn't found a healthier way to be expressed.

2. People who cry easily are not always weak.
Sometimes they have carried heavy emotional burdens for so long that their hearts have become more sensitive, not more fragile.

3. The strongest-looking people may struggle in silence.
Just because someone carries their pain quietly doesn't mean it isn't heavy.

4. People who reveal very little about themselves aren't always the easiest to understand.
Character is better understood through consistent actions than through how much or how little someone speaks.

5. Those who avoid conflict may have experienced too much of it.
After living through chaos, many people value peace more than proving they're right.

6. People who forgive often understand human imperfection.
They know everyone makes mistakes, including themselves. Forgiveness can be a path to inner peace, even when trust needs to be rebuilt.

7. The brightest smile doesn't always reflect the lightest heart.
Some people smile while carrying burdens that nobody else can see.

8. Quiet people are rarely empty-minded.
Many are deeply observant, thoughtful, and reflective, choosing their words carefully.

9. The people who care for everyone else sometimes need care too.
Those who give the most support often forget to ask for it themselves.

10. Constantly trying to prove yourself may come from insecurity.
The more secure people become within themselves, the less they feel the need to seek approval from others.

11. Overthinking often grows from uncertainty or fear.
The mind tries to predict every outcome, believing it can prevent pain by thinking just a little more.

12. Some adult struggles can be influenced by earlier life experiences.
Our past can shape how we think, feel, and reactโ€”but it doesn't have to define who we become.

The deepest truth is this:

Everyone you meet is carrying something you cannot see.

A fear.

A loss.

A disappointment.

A silent struggle.

A burden they rarely speak about.

So choose kindness before judgment.

The person who seems distant may be overwhelmed.

The person who seems angry may be hurting.

The person who says, "I'm fine," may need compassion the most.

As the Buddha taught, understanding begins with seeing that every person carries their own suffering.

When you remember that...

Kindness becomes much easier.

๐Ÿ’› We Need Your Help! ๐Ÿ’›

Please vote for .org as the Favorite Charitable Organization in the Best of the Four States!

This isn't just a contest. It's an opportunity to build a more connected, compassionate community where no one has to walk their journey alone.

At Blooming Bridges Foundation, we believe that every child deserves to be seen, heard, accepted, & celebrated. We also know that every parent, caregiver, & family deserves encouragement, understanding, & a community they can lean on.

Because Children Need A Village, & Parents Deserve A Tribe. ๐Ÿ’›

That belief is the heart behind our LINK Program (Loving Individuals, Nurturing Kindness).

The LINK Program is being created to provide welcoming, inclusive support groups for children, adolescents, young adults, & adults. Whether someone is navigating autism, sensory differences, disabilities, mental health challenges, or simply looking for a place where they truly belong, LINK will offer a safe space to connect, grow, & thrive.

Through LINK, participants will have opportunities to:

๐Ÿ’› Build meaningful friendships & lasting connections.

๐Ÿ’› Share experiences in a safe, judgment-free environment where everyone is valued.

๐Ÿ’› Learn new social, emotional, & life skills while encouraging one another.

๐Ÿ’› Grow in confidence, resilience, self-advocacy, & independence.

๐Ÿ’› Discover a community built on acceptance, kindness, compassion, & hope.

Our vision is to create a community where every individual feels connected, every family feels supported, & no one has to face life's challenges alone.

๐Ÿ† Winning Best of the Four States would do more than recognize our organizationโ€”it would help us introduce & expand the LINK Program, increase awareness of our mission, strengthen community partnerships, attract additional supporters, & reach more children, teens, adults, & families throughout the Four States.

๐Ÿ’› Your vote is more than a click. It's a vote for inclusion. It's a vote for belonging. It's a vote for hope. It's a vote for building the village every child deserves & the tribe every parent needs.

Please take a moment to vote, then share this post with your family, friends, coworkers, & community. Together, we can create a future where kindness builds connections, support strengthens families, & everyone knows they have a place where they belong.

Because Children Need A Village, & Parents Deserve A Tribe.

Thank you for believing in our mission, supporting Blooming Bridges Foundation, & helping us build brighter bridges to connection, compassion, inclusion, & hope.

Every vote matters. Every share helps. Every connection changes a life. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’›

Thanks for helping us to be recognized as the Best of the Four States!

Kaylann Loraine, president and executive director of Ecosavvy Insights, stopped by to speak with Howie about the public advocacy they are involved with.

Operation Birthday Cake: With SNAP benefits being reduced, many families across Southwest Missouri faced even greater challenges meeting daily food needs, making special items like birthday cakes harder to afford. Operation Birthday Cake was created to make sure that no childโ€™s special day goes uncelebrated simply because their family may be struggling. Through this initiative, they partner with local bakers like Muffin Tops & Cake Pops, The Frosted Fae, and Zaveโ€™s Cakes to provide one birthday cake each week to a child in need in Jasper or Newton Counties. Their goal is to bake joy into every celebration while highlighting the importance of local sustainability and community care.

GALENA, Kan. Air Quality & Landfill: They are working to get survey responses for Galena, Kansas air quality. The goal is to collect the data from locals to get a better picture of how Galena residents are being affected by the odors and air quality.
