Day 4: A Week of Action: Find Time to Celebrate YOU!

“Today I am finding time to celebrate ME by being fully present with my babies and focusing on how it feels for me when I am connecting with them. We are in a tough season with big feelings and big adjustments, but giggling and being silly with my babies is my love language and it reminds me to slow down and soak it in. It also makes me feel like I am doing something “right”, even if it’s just a silly moment together.”

Day 2: A Week of Action: Maternal Mental Health Week - Tag 5 Moms who could use a little extra love.

is a local high school teacher, a mom to an incredible little man, a firefighter wife, and fitness instructor. She is one of the dearest people to me in my life, consistently uplifting others, and deserves every ounce of love given to her.

is a mama to 3 amazing little men, an amazing wife, and someone who has been in my corner in our mom era since the very beginning. She is a reminder to me that motherhood is so much more manageable when you walk it with someone you love and trust dearly.

is a fellow perinatal therapist mama who has dedicated her craft to serving local moms in all stages of motherhood. She is a true gift to our community, an incredible resource to learn from, and someone I instantly felt drawn to the moment I met her.

is such a gift to our community. She is a mom who gets it, but is also a mom to her mama clients in the most vulnerable time bringing a new life into the world. Doulas are such a gift and Jeni is one of the most special people I’ve ever known.

is a team of incredible women therapists and psychologists who serve our community with compassion and integrity. Many of these women are moms to children of all ages while holding precious space for their clients.

Day 1: Share Your Story

I am a mom who has had several experiences with miscarriage and loss prior to carrying and having my two children today.

A 10 week miscarriage in 2018 rattled me, exposed me to grief like I had never experienced, and ultimately impacted the beautiful miracle of pregnancy with my son. I did not expect pregnancy after loss to impact me this way. I experienced horrible intrusive thoughts and the cruel belief that something horrible would happen to this baby.

4 years later, this experience is something that thrust me into working with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and educating my clients and my community about misinformation around this.

I am so fortunate to get to work with the population that I do. Every parent is so deserving of support, compassion, and advocacy! Please join me in sharing your story if you feel called to do so!

I am also going to be accepting new virtual clients at that time. Please contact our front office if you’d like to schedule any new patient appointments with me in March 2023!

Did you know that National Diaper Need Awareness Week is scheduled for September 24 – October 2, 2022?
The week draws attention to the issue of diaper need in the U.S.
A signature initiative of the The National Diaper Bank Network launched in 2012, the National Diaper Need Awareness Week provides individuals, organizations, communities, and elected officials the opportunity to engage in real talk and simple actions. By working together we can ensure that all babies have access to clean diapers and other basic necessities required for them to thrive and reach their full potential.
invites YOU to get involved.
