The theory is simple:
Planes leave when they leave. âď¸
They donât wait until youâre more confident.
They donât wait until youâve done one more course. They donât wait until life gets less busy.
They donât wait until you feel 100% ready.
They leave.
And if youâre standing at the gate overthinking, second-guessing, or waiting for certainty, youâll watch the opportunity take off without you.
Now think of it in your own life- waiting to start the business, waiting to prioritize their health, waiting to have the hard conversation, waiting to apply, launch, invest, ask, speak up, or take up space.
Not because YOU arenât capable.
Because youâre waiting for a feeling that rarely comes first.
The people who create change in their lives arenât necessarily the smartest, the most qualified, or the most fearless. Theyâre the ones willing to board before they have all the answers. â¨
Theyâre willing to learn while moving.
To figure it out as they go.
To trust themselves enough to take the next step.
When I look back at my own life, almost every meaningful thing started before I felt ready. From having a baby to launching a businessâŚ. Are you ever TRULY âreadyâ before you start? No! Because youâve never experienced it before âŚyou never know what that feeling is supposed to feel like.
None of those moments came with a giant neon sign saying, âYouâre ready now.â They came with a choice.
Stay at the gate where itâs comfortable.
Or board the plane.
The beautiful thing is that growth doesnât happen while youâre waiting in the terminal.
It happens in the air. â¨
So hereâs your reminder:
The perfect time isnât coming.
The opportunity in front of you already has a departure time.
The question is: are you getting on the plane?
