The prenatal yoga class that starts tomorrow night is full and closed, but if you've already had your baby (or will soon), you can sign up now for the POSTnatal yoga class that starts on Oct. 28. Alison focuses that class on re-entering a movement practice and building the diaphragm, core, and pelvic floor in the first year after birth, not to mention connection with other new parents. We'd love to see you!

During pregnancy and beyond, we've happy to host you for yoga in our peaceful, calming space.

Join us for prenatal yoga August 19-October 14 (half session available if you're due before class ends). Our instructor Alison See is also a certified Body Ready Method instructor, and that knowledge of the body and fetal positioning informs the yoga flows she leads to help prepare you for an easier birth. This is a chance to connect with your body, your baby, and a community in the same life stage.

And if you've already had your baby, join us for postnatal yoga November 11 - December 9. This class is ideal for those who are 6 weeks to one year postpartum, but anyone who has had a baby can join to focus on re-entering a movement practice and building the diaphragm, core, and pelvic floor. You don't need any previous experience with yoga. Just a desire to reconnect with your body, start a gentle movement practice, and build community.

Alison fills the space with so much love. Sign up now to join us! https://birthkalamazoo.com/yoga

Two days left to register! Had a baby in the past year? It’s time to re-enter a gentle movement practice and focus on rebuilding the diaphragm, core, and pelvic floor.

It's the first time we've offered this amazing class with instructor Alison See. It's ideal for those who are 6 weeks to one year postpartum, but anyone who has had a baby can join.

You don't need any previous experience with yoga. Just a desire to reconnect with your body, start a gentle movement practice, and build community.

July 1 - 29, no class July 15. Currently pregnant? Prenatal yoga is also back on August 19.

Register by Friday, June 26. That's just two days from now, so don't wait. birthkalamazoo.com/yoga

There's still time to register for our newborn care class on Sunday! You've prepped for the birth, now what about the baby? Four great hours of evidence-based information about life with this tiny person, plus you can stay a little longer afterward for newborn CPR (and leave with a kit to teach family members).

Get ready, this baby is coming... From diapering and fingernails to swaddling, soothing and sleep, we've got you covered.

Congratulations to our doula and Medicaid coordinator Izzy Harper on her new credential: International Board Certified Lactation Consultant! This is the highest level of lactation expertise, and we can't wait to roll out lactation consults for our community. An incredible amount of time and study goes into becoming an IBCLC, and we're so happy for Izzy to have the credential that vets what we already knew: she's a fantastic breastfeeding supporter and problem-solver. 💜 Way to go Izzy!
