I keep talking to my girls about Hot Girl Summer. And while yes, the consensus is a collective concern of swimsuits and boating as summer nears, I continue to remind myself and those around me that “Hot Girl Summer” is a mindset and attitude more powerful than a physical outcome.

Yes, we should strive for quality of life and health but not at the expense of loving and appreciating what we have and who we are in THIS MOMENT.

We will never have this moment back, so make the most of it. Love the YOU that is now and cherish the journey you are on to only be that much closer to your life goals each and every day.

THOUGHT IT WAS MY CAT! 🤣

I woke this morning to some light banging around and commotion in the kitchen.

My cat, Apollo, is only JUST coming out of his kitten phase and I thought for sure he was causing mischief and I was gonna have to toss a kitty outside.

As I come peeping around the corner, I find my nearly 16 year old (Joshua) making breakfast for the family for the second time this week.

He made my pink drink, my coffee, protein pancakes and egg whites. Does he know what a business owning, bodybuilding mama needs or what!? lol

To add to this self motivated action, this boy had already gone for his morning run in the frigid Montana morning hours.

2024, on the surface and in the storm of it, appeared to be a pretty tough and honestly odd year for this family.

What it did for us is priceless. It showed us what happens when we allow the wrong energies (yes plural) to come into our orbit.

It taught us the importance of protecting our energy, holding our dreams and life’s missions close to our chest, strengthen our boundaries, and trust only those who have MORE than proven their trustworthiness.

It has brought us close together again!

It led us to a season of healing and rebuilding.
