In the first photo I was 18, living in south carolina and pursuing a degree in psychology ( after watching Meet The Fockers for the first time I just knew I’d be a S*x Therapist some day 🤪 ) — I got one semester in and life happened, love fell apart, and I had this nagging feeling that I wasn’t where I was supposed to be. After having a complete meltdown over the phone with my mom, and in the most dramatic way possible, I dropped out, packed up my apartment, had the most heartbreaking goodbye s*x and left that version of me in the rearview.

I’m now 34 (35 in May) and living in Montana with my husband and our two dogs, I’ve had 17 years of figuring out where I’m “supposed” to be — who I’m supposed to be, what I’m supposed to be doing, what that looks like and why it matters — and with no surprise being back in school to finish that degree and continue on that path makes more sense than ever✨

I know things have been slow here in my corner of IG (I’m in my scholarly era 👩🎓)— I may not be posting much, content might pivot, might deepen, might feel different or entirely the same, who knows? Maybe you don’t care, maybe you do, but honestly for the first time in a while I feel assured regardless of anyone’s approval. I don’t feel behind. I’m not comparing my journey. I’m not trying to be relevant. I don’t fear missing out on here.

I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be, doing what I’m thrilled to be doing — and sharing this feels important ( I just know that cutie in the first pic is so proud 💚)
