At Neuru, we often hear the phrase, “We should collaborate,” but true collaboration requires more than words. It requires intentionality, inclusion, and a genuine commitment to bringing people together in meaningful ways. That is why we deeply appreciate leaders like Miriam Gonzalez.
What stands out most is not only her passion for the community, but her ability to recognize the strengths of others and create impactful opportunities for collaboration. She creates spaces where organizations, families, and community members feel welcomed, valued, and included.
Last month, Miriam hosted an incredible event in celebration of Autism Awareness Month, and every detail reflected care, thoughtfulness, and community. From the hands-on experiences to trampoline dancing, the event was beautifully woven together to create moments of connection and joy for families.
But beyond the activities themselves, what made the greatest impact was the feeling in the room. Looking at the faces of the families attending, you could feel the joy. Feel the love. Feel the community.
Thank you, Miriam, for leading with intention and for creating spaces where collaboration truly comes to life.
