Using crushed graham crackers in your child’s sensory bin is the best because it hits so many developmental skills at once: bilateral coordination (crushing + scooping), tactile tolerance for messy textures, and early cause-and-effect learning (pouring and dumping). And since it’s totally edible, it’s perfect for kids who are still mouthing objects or exploring with taste!
How to set it up:
🍯 Crush a few sleeves of graham crackers into a bin (let your kids do the smashing!)
🥄 Add scoops, small cups, and spoons for pouring and transferring
🧸 Hide small toys or textured objects inside for a “dig and find” twist
