& this morning her husband came in to add a his very own dinosaur drawn by their daughter.

Not every tattoo is supposed to be perfect. Some are supposed to be exactly as they were made.

Today we tattooed this little axolotl, drawn by my client’s daughter. No cleaning up the lines. No making it more symmetrical. No turning it into my version of her drawing. Just her artwork, exactly the way she created it, permanently carried by her mom.
One day her hands will be bigger. Her drawings will change. She’ll grow up, and life will move way too fast like it always does.
But this little version of her gets to stay.
I tattoo a lot of things, but getting trusted with memories like this will never feel like just another tattoo.
Sometimes the most imperfect lines are the ones worth keeping forever. 🖤
This is why I do what I do.
